UPDATE: Tweet from @GregGrunberg Confirms MAJOR death IS indeed coming

Hey All,
As many fans suspected after Ausiello's "Blind Item" post this morning of a major male actor in a drama being killed off the show was Heroes related we now have confirmation via E! Online.

Several potential characters have been setup for death so not sure who it would be. Sendhil has been a virtual no-show in all spoilers, Matt was recently seen in a set video on a hospital gurney, everyone knows about Hiro's bucket list storyline and these are just to name a few of the candidates.

The good news is this character just filmed their last scene so expect this to take place some where around Episode 4x11/12.

Take a guess in the comments. As expected I am sure we will get the normal reaction if so or so is killed I am done with this show. Honestly that is the wrong reaction. I would only be mad if the death was not written properly

NOTE: Ausiello's report says the actor was not informed by the producers and if so this was a terrible move by the producers.

Sources over on NBC's Heroes confirm to me that a major death is in the works, and this is not one that will go unnoticed by even the most casual fan.

It is huge. So who is it?

I will tell you that this leading character is a male, and he is not necessarily pictured above. (He might be, he might not be.) And he is one of the original cast.

And you thought Hayden's same-sex kiss was surprising, eh?

Clearly the producers are pulling out all the stops this season in an effort to ramp up storylines and pull out a big watercooler-worthy surprise.

But I have to say that I, for one, will miss this guy. Big-time.
