Season 3 Awards Polls - Update and Bonus Poll

Hey All,
First of all thanks to all of you that have sent in messages wondering what happened with the polls. I wish there was one simple answer but there isn't. First, after we posted the last set of polls (Bes Actor/Actress), there was a slight glitch in the system and then once it was working ok. The story about Fuller quitting and well the topics were centered on that subject.

I gave things a few days to settle down and then I got slammed with some work that cut my time to post the polls. I know they are popular and we get 100s of votes, but the amount of time I had allowed me to post either the polls or the most up to date spoilers from around the net. So I went with the spoilers.

However, do not worry I promise once the 4th of July holiday passes this weekend, we will start up the polls again.

As far as Best Actor/Actress, it is very clear that based on all the fan votes, Zachary Quinto and Cristine Rose have won Best Actor and Actress!!

I know there are some Sylar haters or fans that feel he is overplayed, but Quinto's acting this past season no matter what role they had him play was great. Quinto was the favorite and took an early lead and never looked back getting close to 50% of the votes. Jack Coleman who did a wonderful job as well got 17% of your votes.

Cristine Rose (Angela) for me was hands down the best female actress of Season 3 but Ali Larter and Kristen Bell each both received about 21% of your votes and gave Rose a little competition finishing in almost a virtual tie for 2nd.

As I was writing this blog post I became very curious to see what would happen if Quinto and Rose were in a poll against one another. I assume Quinto would win, but since I have not posted a poll recently I decided to create a Bonus Poll for all of you to see who you all felt was the BEST Actor or Actress of Season 3!?

Season 4 - Update on Claire, Annie and Sylathan

Hey All,
Ausiello from EW revealed some new spoilers about season 4 confirming that Claire and her roommate Annie will have some "kind of" romantic relationship!?

He also confirmed that Adrian Pasdar revealed why they were casting a Young Nathan. Apparently Sylathan (as Nathan) absorbs a memory from a piece of clothing reminding him of something that happened to him when he was 11. I wonder if this is connected to the shocking thing from Angela's past??

It has to do with a character we have met before."

Robert Knepper Reveals Spoilers for Season 4

Hey All,
New Heroes cast member Robert Knepper revealed several little spoilers for season 4 during a recent interview. He provided us details on what to expect of his character and confirmed that he has filmed several scenes with Masi Oka (Hiro) that were set in the past about 14 years ago.

Here is a little summary of the interview from Digital Spy:

1) His character is evil but charming and has a Irish/British that we will not figure out.
2) He has worked with Masi Oka
3) The scenes they filmed were set in Japan 14 years ago in a carnival setting.
4) He has been signed to the cast "indefinitely"

Season 4 - Spoilers We Know So Far

Hey All,
Here is a little list of many of the spoilers for Heroes Season 4(Volume 5 Redemption) so far. This is a list by Digital Spy and does not have anything new that I could see.

Also I know these are not the only spoilers we know, but it is a good summary, so feel free to discuss below and if there are things missing let me know and we can add on to the list. For example, Hiro, Ando and Mohinder are not on the list and I know there are some details for Hiro and Ando out there.

Claire (Hayden Panettiere): is starting college in Washington, D.C. Gets two roommates, Annie (Rachel Melvin) and Gretchen (Madeline Zima), but predictably, Claire's new life is far from straightforward. In the first episode, she discovers a body on the sidewalk, the result of a mysterious suicide. Meanwhile, she's dealing with the fallout from her parents' divorce process.

Nathan (Adrian Pasdar):... is Sylar. But that doesn't mean Nathan's going to be through and through bad next season. "I think there's going to be a good redemptive nature to his behaviour this year," Pasdar told Sci Fi Wire recently. "It's nice to think it might end a little lighter. It's nice to think it might end with a martyrdom kind of behavior thing in order to sacrifice himself to save the world."

Peter (Milo Ventimiglia): has alienated himself from those cloest to him as he embarks on a one-man mission to save the world, one person at a time. Peter also finds a romantic interest in the form of a powerful woman. This is rumoured to be a hearing-impaired character called Emma, played by The L Word's Deanne Bray.

Angela (Cristine Rose): Talking about episode 3, Rose told E! Online: "I learned that 20 years ago, Angela made a decision that is going to come back to bite her in her rear end. Angela tries her best, but she keeps screwing up." Rose added that in the same episode, there will be a "huge change" for Mama Petrelli.

Matt (Greg Grunberg): is feeling guilty over the Nathan/Sylar affair but is trying to live a normal life with his wife and son. Grunberg has posted on his Twitter saying that he has been filming scenes where Matt "beats up on Sylar". Matt also gets a new partner ( Battlestar's Rick Worthy), an experienced LA cop who Matt turns to for advice.

Noah (Jack Coleman), Tracy (Ali Larter):... and Angela, among others, are forming The Company 2.0. But this time, The Company claims to have good intentions, with the aim of uniting heroes around the world. But there's also a new, sinister organisation on the scene - one that treats people with abilities in a "dangerous and potentially deadly new way".

Samuel (Robert Knepper): is a brand new character, described as a "charismatic and evil" man who will "veer into the lives of all heroes". Check back in with Tube Talk tomorrow morning for an exclusive interview with the ex-Prison Break star talking about his new role!

Episode 4x03 Acceptance - More About Angela's Past

According to E! Online, we will learn more about Angela Petrelli's past in Episode 4x03 Acceptance. Cristine Rose confirmed that something Angela did in her past will come back to haunt her.

Here are her exact words:

"I just read episode 4.03 and—oh, I get chills just thinking about it—I learned that 20 years ago or so, I made a decision that is going to come to back to bite me in my rear end. Angela tries her best, but she keeps screwing up. Oh well, she stays afloat with a sense of humor and a glass of wine."

So what do you all think this decision could be?? Previously we reported that she will learn something shocking, so I assume both are related.

Hayden Panettiere Reveals Details About Season 4

Hey All,
This weekend Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere who plays Claire was promoting her new movie I Love You Beth Cooper and answered some questions about Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption).

Here is a little summary of what she mentioned:

1) She said Claire's roommate is "great" but that we wont "know about her in the beginning."
2) Apparently Claire might not have The Company around but will still have to deal with people that have abilities.
3) The Carnival people are kind of the opposite of The Company

She also talks a little but about Fuller leaving again, but does not reveal much more.

Cristine Rose and Adrian Pasdar Discuss Season 4

Hey All,
Earlier this week after the Saturn Awards, Heroes Stars Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) and Cristine Rose (Angela) discussed what we should expect for Season 4.

Pasdar confirmed that Nathan will be redeemed this season and Rose said that there is a shocking change plan for Angela in Episode 4x03 (Acceptance). Additionally Rose once again confirmed that each episode will focus on fewer characters, so expect to see less of all the characters.

I personally am split whenever they talk about seeing less of each character, because on one side I think it is good for the overall storyline of the show and it will be easier for the writers to focus on making some of the stories better and on the other side I am a little disappointed that we will see less of some fan favorites.

Pasdar said that he's not going to play Sylar so much as play somebody trying to imitate Nathan. (Pasdar took home a Saturn Award for best supporting actor on a television series.)

"That's the irony," Pasdar said. "I don't feel like I'm playing Sylar. I feel like I'm playing a guy who's playing Nathan. You see what I'm saying? I'm not trying to act like Sylar. Sylar's trying to act like Nathan. A little tic ... here, a little compulsive, obsessive behavior somewhere else."

Riiighht.

In a separate interview at the awards ceremony, Rose suggested that it might only get harder to follow who is playing whom on Heroes: The upcoming "volume five" has Sylar and Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) morphing into a variety of of co-stars and day players. "I just read episode 403 yesterday," Rose said. "What happens then, my mind has been so baffled, but it's a lot of fun. Yet another huge change comes for me in episode 403."

Nathan Petrelli began as a corrupt politician who was willing to let New York explode. He ultimately sacrificed himself to stop his brother, Peter, from blowing up, but later worked with the government to capture people with abilities. Pasdar suggested that his journey in the next season will finally redeem Nathan.

"I think there's going to be a good redemptive nature to his behavior this year," Pasdar said. "Somehow we're going to try to get out from underneath the dark cloud that surrounded the first couple years of his perception of what his power might be, his ability. It's nice to think it might end a little lighter. It might end with a martyrdom kind of behavior thing in order to sacrifice [himself] to serve the world."

As for that crazy episode 403 Rose mentioned, it includes the usual Petrelli parental issues. Nathan will be managing his shape-shifting, and their interaction will revolve more around Rose's Angela. "It's classic Mama Petrelli," Pasdar said. "It's more on her consistent behavior than it is on mine. I have a little bit of a shift going through my character, so she's more solid. It more resonates around her gravity pull than mine."

Rose added that the new season will spend comparatively less time with all characters. "All the stories are much smaller than they were, so each episode will be fewer people," Rose said. "So it'll be smaller stories for everyone, but I'm happy that they write my name in the script."

Season 4 Two Hour Premiere Confirmed by NBC

Hey All,
NBC has released their official 2009 Fall TV Premiere Dates and Times and Heroes Season 4 (Volume 5 Redemption) as expected is scheduled for Sept. 21st at 8PM, but it will be a Two-Hour Premiere!!

So we will see the first two episodes, Orientation and Jump Push Fall.

We were just informed that based on an updated casting call that the title for Heroes Episode 4x03 is "Acceptance".

I wonder if this means the Heroes will be looking for acceptance or one specific character??

Season 4 -New Spoilers From Filming Update

Hey All,
Today we received a tip from someone who happened to be on set during the recent filming that took place at UCLA, which is the location of Claire's college.

The source claimed that someone would die in the first episode and when I asked them to clarify a bit more, all they could provide to us was to say that this is what was scheduled to be filmed:

"Claire discovers a body on the sidewalk."

Episode 4x02 was scheduled to start this week, so I am not sure if this scene will take place at the end of the premiere or in the second episode.

Of course who this dead body could be is the mystery and they would not reveal who it was, but I believe there were some previous spoilers about Claire's roommate possibly dying and that there will be some mysterious deaths in Season 4.

This is a new source so hopefully they are right and we will be able to get more information from them.

So what do you all think!? Could this "body" be Gretchen or some random person that Claire finds!?

Molly Walker to Appear in Next Graphic Novel

Hey All,
For those of you that do not know, over at NBC.com you will find several interactive items for the fans including Online Graphic Novels that usually overlap some of the current stories in the show.

The new graphic novel will feature the fan favorite Molly Walker who practically disappeared.

Grunberg and Quinto Filming Scenes Together Today

Hey All,
Heroes star Greg Grunberg who plays Matt Parkman confirmed via his Twitter acct that he will be filming scenes with Zachary Quinto (Sylar) today.

In fact he actually says that he is "getting ready to go in and beat up on Sylar".

Last we heard Episode 4x02 was being filmed, but there is no confirmation of when this scene will take place. However, based on the set pics of ZQ and Milo last week and this Tweet it seems like all of you Quinto fans will get a decent dose of him early in the season.

I am sure some of you are not happy to see more of Sylar, but if Matt is beating him up, then maybe you will feel better.

If anyone happens to get any pictures of the filming, feel free to send them in.
